Cabin Beetle

Design and development of a sustainable eco-cabin for the city of Amsterdam. It’s campsite is located in a beautiful forest near the city centre.

The design is inspired by both the big industrial cranes that are used in the nearby shipyards and the little beetles that inhabit the forest and camping grounds.

The elevated platform and the glass facades provide wide view into the forest, right over the laurel hedge that encloses the camping.

This look-out add’s an extra dimension to the camper’s experience.
